Coffee Alternative: Rose & Rosemary Cacao

Nourish your heart and circulatory system with this potent Rose and Rosemary Cacao.

Cacao is a circulatory stimulant which increases blood flow to the brain.

Rosemary strengthens and tones capillaries and coronary arteries. Similarly to cacao it increase blood supply to the brain, enhancing mental clarity and memory.

Rose is a powerful heart medicine that calms and soothes nervous anxiety. It contains anti-microbial properties and supports digestion!

*You will need a blender or nutribullet for this recipe :)

Ingredients :

200ml filtered water

50ml plant milk (I like oat!)

1/2 Cacao Club Large Ceremonial Tonic Disk or 30grams of Organic Cacao Paste

1 heaped tsp of dried Rosemary

1 tsp of Rosewater

Optional :

1 date if you like some sweetness

1 tsp of fresh grated ginger if you like a kick

Process :

Bring water to the boil, pour it over the rosemary and steep for 5-10 minutes.

Whilst tea is steeping, heat your milk in a saucepan on the stove on low heat.

Simply add your Cacao, Rosewater and any other ingredients to your blender.

When your milk is hot (but not boiling), strain off your rosemary tea and add both liquids to your blender.

Blend on high for around one minute.

Pour yourself a creamy cup of heart opening, brain boosting, deliciousness and get ready for your creativity and focus to soar!
